My dream travel destination is Tanzania in East Africa. I’m captivated by the country’s natural wonders, cultural experiences, and adventure opportunities. From witnessing the Great Migration in Serengeti National Park to hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro and exploring the Zanzibar archipelago, I’m eager to embark on an unforgettable journey.

In my free time, I enjoy playing games and football. It’s a great way to relax and unwind after a busy day. I also like watching live sports, especially football. There’s something exhilarating about the energy and passion of the game that keeps me hooked.

✈️  If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would love to visit Old Trafford, home of my favourite team, Manchester United. Experiencing the atmosphere of a live match at the stadium would be a dream come true for me.

One of the most memorable moments was when we signed our largest client, McDonald’s Malaysia. It was a truly remarkable experience to collaborate with one of the largest employers in Malaysia and provide a financial wellbeing tool for their employees.

📈 How do you see the future of earned wage access evolving?

Earned Wage Access will undoubtedly become more popular, and employers will recognise its value in supporting their employees’ financial health. Over the past three years, we’ve seen a significant shift in openness towards EWA solutions, and I believe it will continue to grow and evolve in Southeast Asia.

One heartwarming moment that stands out is when a customer reached out to us one evening. His wife was sick, and he urgently needed funds for her medical expenses. With his payday still a week away, he felt helpless. I promptly guided him through accessing his earned salary in Payd. The customer’s heartfelt gratitude illustrated how EWA can truly be a lifeline during urgent times of need, making a profound difference in people’s lives.

Recently, one of our users shared with me their heartwarming experience of using Payd’s EWA solution. After being hospitalised for a significant amount of time, they were in dire need of funds. As the breadwinner of their family, they had additional financial responsibilities apart from medical bills.

With access to their earned salaries through Payd, they were able to send money to their family for essential expenses, including petrol and groceries, while in the hospital. They have since recovered and returned to work, showing how EWA can play a critical role during times of financial stress.
